ABOUT US

We are freelance artists from Stoke-on-Trent who began working together because of our shared interest in collaborating with audiences. We formed ‘Dashyline’ in 2009 and went on to produce 2D and 3D work with audiences across the country and abroad.

As part of our continuing development, in 2014 we lost the title and honed our practice to focus on street level interventions, developing a set of simple questions to guide us;

• How can public artists serve society?     • How do artists become community assets?      • Where does art fit into everyday life?

We want to show our cities that art can replace a little of what’s missing in modern shared spaces, and that you don’t have to have a masters degree to feel its worth. We believe that there is a place for art in the everyday, and that it has a vital role to play in the future of communities.
